Hardback. Circa 1908, later edition. A lovely little story of a hedghog called Mrs Tiggy Winkle from the pen of Beatrix Potter. Complete with a glassine wrapper which may be the original although not printed. Bound with brown paper covered boards with pretty pictorial paper on-lay to the front. In very good condition protected by the glassine wrap. The wrap is worn to the extremities with a piece missing to the spine. Pictorial endpapers with no craking to the hinges. Binding quite firm although the frontispiece is partly detached. Beautifully illustrated with 27 colour plates, including frontispiece with blank pages inbetween. The pages are quite clean despite the very occasional thumb mark. Overall a charming copy in very good condition.
