Hardback. First Edition Thus. Bound in the publisher's light brown cloth with beautiful gilt pictorial and titles to the front. The binding is in a lovely clean condition and shows very little wear. Slight darkening to the spine with shelf wear to the top and base. Minor stain along the base of the rear board. The pages are free of any inscriptions or bookplates. The occasional thumb mark, otherwise a lovely clean copy. Beautifully illustrated with 40 tipped in colour plates and numerous drawings in black and white. pp. 134. Overall a very good copy.
