Hardback. First edition beautifully enhanced by the illustrations of Raymond Briggs. The pictorial dust jacket is bright and clean and shows just a little edge wear. Underneath lie maroon paper covered boards which are in very good condition. No marks along the top or fore-edge. Neat inscription to the half title page although the rest of the pages are very clean. pp. xii + 259. Overall a lovely copy which would make an ideal gift.
