The Playtime Toy Books Series. Attractive paper covers and pages mounted onto linen with the words "Mounted On Patent Indestructable Boards" to the top of the front cover. Beatifully illustrated throughout with several colour images and sepia line drawings with-in the text. There is a little wear and discolouration to the boards, with both front and rear board detached from the text block. The pages show the occasional thumb mark with previous owners' neat inscription to the verso of the front cover. The pages however, are generally clean with the colours still bright and vivid. Overall a good copy of a scarce series.
